Question:

Why Is my ClariSea forming a bulge at one side of the dirty roll and what can I do to stop it happening?

Answer:

The fleece always rolls down hill.

The first thing is to ensure that the front of the motor sleeve is running on the skid plate on the front panel as indicated in the picture below. This is important as it supports the front and prevents it dipping down when the motor actuates.

The back plate has a lasered line on it and this should pass through the middle of the bolt when in the right position. In the picture below you can see the line indicated by the arrows.

At this point it should run flat and not wander to one side.

If however it rolls to the front then lower the back a little and if it rolls to the back then raise the back a little.

In this way it should run level.

If the bulge is forming in the middle then this is caused by a slight deflection in the filter plate on the dirty side and can be rectified by fitting a spacer over the top threaded rod that holds the machine together. This is covered in a separate FAQ and applies to 5000 model only.
