The choice of pump size will depend on the type of media and ammount being used in the reactor.

As a rough guide we would recomend the following flow rates,

Rowaphos 400-600 l/hr
Carbon 500-1000 l/hr
Biopellets 1500-2000 l/hr

In all situations the reactor can be fine tuned using the tap included.
