Question:

Ive got my Aquaillumination light wet, what do I do?

Answer:

If water has made its way in to the light unplug the unit immediately from the mains power supply.

Depending on how bad the water ingerss is the light may have to be dismantled to clean and dry the circuit boards inside the unit. If the light has been subjected to saltwater it is best to disassemble the light, wash the components in fresh RO water and then carefully pat dry with paper roll. The components should then be left to dry fully in a warm area before assembling.

When assembling the light, be sure that no connections are reversed and none of the connection pins are bent or inserted in to the wrong port. If in doubt take detailed photos as you dismantle the light for reference. Care must also be taken to ensure the clear optic that sits over the LED's are positioned correctly, if they are not the LED's may become damaged when the outer case is put back together.

It is possible that components may have already been damaged by the contact with water, if this is the case please contact us via our suport system for advise on non warranty service and spares.
