When mixing the aquascape it is important to use equil amounts of the two sticks that are in the packet and mix them together thoroughly. Sometimes it is best to mix smaller bits at a time as it can take a fair amount of time to combine larger ammounts properly.

If the putty is being used in a situation where it ideally needs to set quicker than it would naturally it is possible to microwave the two components for 5-10 seconds to soften them. Take care as they can become quite warm. The two components can then be mixed thoroughly and used as normal. If the coral/rock being fixed in place will not hold until the putty is set you may need to use a small piece of rock or piece of acrylic rod to support it until the putty sets.
