Rowaphos should be fine to use in a freshater aquarium containing shrimps.

If excess ammounts are used it is possible to cause a tempoary dip in pH or KH so we would always reccomend using the ammount specified on the pot for your aquarium. In a freshwater aquarium containing live plants it is sometimes best to underdose slightly as the plants will need some phosphate to grow.
