New Eco Packaging
Polyp Lab Reef Roids is now supplied in a resealable pouch to reduce packaging and plastic waste. This new eco packaging uses 87% less plastic compared with the old plastic tubs and is the first step in PolypLabs plans to reduce their worldwide plastic usage by 95%. Less plastic packaging and the resulting significant reduction in packaging weight will also reduce the carbon footprint of the product as it is transported worldwide.
The new packaging contains 25% extra product for no extra cost.
The particle size of Reef-roids is around 150-200 microns. This is an ideal size for Goniopora and other filter feeding corals to feed on. When using Reefroids, you will notice excellent polyp extension on all filter feeding corals. Zoanthids, Mushrooms and Ricordia will demonstrate a distinct feeding response. And with continued use, your filter feeding corals will experience faster growth and better colors.
Reef-roids mixes remarkably well into water and does not float to the surface like most dry coral foods. This ensures a long duration in your water column to minimize food waste.
Unlike many other “coral foods” on the market, Reef-Roids is NOT made with processed fish meals or other ingredients that can rapidly degrade water quality. Reef-roids is a mixture of naturally occurring marine planktons including a specific species of zooplankton that is unique to the Polyplab product.
For every 100g of tank volume, mix one teaspoon of Reef-Roids with some water from your tank.
For optimum results, use a syringe to target feed this mixture while tank circulation is off, otherwise, disperse mixture directly into tank.
