If the temperature on the display rises quickly after the cooler has reached its set point there are a few things to check.

• Make sure the pump supplying water to the chiller is working correctly and that the water flow is sufficient.
• The water bath or internal pipework may have started to partially block restricting flow through the chiller. Click here for information on chiller mainteance.
• Check that there are no heat souces warming up the aquarium, e.g. heater positioned near the inlet of the chiller or heater staying on.
