The new Xwave is a high quality, performance wavemaker for the marine or reef aquarium producing high water flow with a low energy cost. The Multi-Controller expands the options for use of the pumps into a whole new world of water movement.

All Xwave pumps are controllable and come with a remote power supply which offers 5 selectable speeds as standard. When used with the multi-controller the options are even greater with a choice of functions to tailor the pump output to your specific requirements.

A - Pulse Mode:

Produces 30 second cycles of flow at 50% power and then 50% power creating wave surges within the aquarium.

B - Interval Mode 1:

Controls two separate pumps on alternating cycles between 50% and 100% power over a 150 second repeating cycle.

C - Interval Mode 2:

Controls the two separate pumps on a second different cycle.

D- Random Mode:

This program is set up to use a random output of the pump. An irregular combination can produce turbulent currents. The occurrence of turbulence for a few hours per week is beneficial for the reef aquarium as it simulates the de-sedimentation of the stony structures in the reef zones.

E - Cycle Mode:

A combination process. This program is set to run from Mode A to Mode D and each mode executes for 30 minutes.

F - Food Time Mode:

This program is set to stop the pump during feeding. After 8 minutes the system is restored to the previous program. During the feeding mode all the function keys are deactivated. The feeding mode minimises the loss of fish and coral food directly into the filter system.

G - Night Mode:

This program works with the built-in timer. It can run together with all other programs except for Food Time Mode. When the Night Mode is applied and the time is at the preset night time, (see setting of night time), Night Mode will be executed. The pump will operate at 30% output and the Super-Lux LED will switch on until the night period is over. During the Night Mode all the function keys are deactivated.

With the difference between the day and night environments the organisms inside the aquarium can regain their natural biological clock which enhances reproduction and growth.
