What level should I set the water on my Deltec AP Skimmer
Question:
I bought skimmer DELTEC APF 600.
I want to know how high to set the water level in the chamber for best performance.
Answer:
If you download the instructions from the skimmer page on the site you will see that for most Deltec AP and TS skimmers that the best height to set the water level is at the black bayonet neck where the cup fits on.
Set the water level with the air tap closed and then when it is opened the bubbles will rise to half way up the riser tube.
If the tap is closed to the 2 oclock position then the bubble size is reduced giving a larger surface area and better skimming performance. (not MCE300)
