Micro reef lighting choice

Hi
I have recently purchased a second hand Deltec micro reef standard for my first attempt at keeping marine fish/coral. Unfortunately the tank has come with no instructions at with it and I know there is a PDF on your website but I would be very grateful for any extra information/diagrams or pictures you may be have to assist with this. As well as this unfortunately the lighting unit that has come with the tank is not working (and I suspect beyond repair!), could you advise me as to what light unit I would require for this tank (would the giesemann reflexx unit fit this tank?) and again any pictures/instructions or diagrams you may have which would show how they are fitted would be appreciated.

Sorry for the late reply, your mail ended up in my spam bin.

If you let me know of any components that you are having trouble setting up ill do my best to advise you as the instruction

sets can be a little generic depending on your tanks options.

With regards to lighting you could sit the Razor lights directly onto the tanks braces or suspend something like a reflexx above the

tank. I'm not sure if the optional mounting legs would fit the tank due to the way Deltec build the Micro reef so i would have to

chat to a rep to see if this would work if the legs are of interest to you.

I personally prefer to ceiling or mount from wall brackets as the light units can be elevated out of the way when working on the tank.

You can tip the lights back when using the mounting legs as they are hinged at the back but again the legs need to be securely attached

to the aquarium glass although depending on the length of the unit chosen you may be able to mount it to the side of the tank sitting

over the laminated trim.
