hi i just brought an mce600, set it up and its really noist. i have read your site for solutions but nothing has worked. do you have any sugestions, how much are the dampening kit, thanks

Is the unit new? If so and your skimmer is very noisy your retailer maybe able to have a look at it for you if you take it in.

If this is a secondhand purchase i suggest you give the unit a really good clean and inspection as in this link.

The noise dampening kits are for the older style pumps with the black grommets, you can identify your pump using the info

contained in the following link:

If yours has black grommets rather than the red pictured you will need the kit.
