MCE600 old and new style pumps??

Question:

hi. I have an MCE600 skimmer. Can you tell me if there is meant to be a bush insert at both ends of the impeller?

my impeller has a light coloured insert at the magnet end. but not one at the needle end. There is a middle insert which i can see. I am asking because the vibration in my skimmer is very noisy

I have fitted the dampening kit was sent to me. When i insert the shaft at the needle end there is a lot of movement but at the other end when inserted there is not a lot of movement. Also can you give me a cost for a new impeller + shaft for the MCE600 please.

It depends whether you have the old style pump or the new one.

The old style has a red bush on the ends of the shaft without a ceramic insert in the bush and the shaft is separate from the impellor.

The new impellors are fixed to the shaft and the red bushes are larger and fitted with a ceramic sleeve in which the impellor rotates.

Which kind of pump do you have?
