Lighting for a Juwel aquarium

Hi Clive

It really depends on what you are trying to achieve with regards to
lighting. We don't do a direct replacement for the Juwel lid but we do
supply
Razor light units to retail.

If you are looking to replace the light units and you are keeping a marine
reef aquarium you may wish to run two of the razor units but these are not
direct replacements for the Juwel lighting so you will need to find a way to
mount these.

The other option would be to hang a T5 or Metal halide light unit above the
aquarium, this will look smarter and the metal halides will give a shimmer
to the water but would require an open top to the aquarium by removing the
juwel lids and lighting.

A single 150 watt halide unit would be fine for a 125 Juwel aquarium

If you are running a freshwater aquarium a single razor T5  unit should be
fine depending on your set up but as i say they are not direct fitments so
some
DIY hood making or adaption would be required on your part.

Appropriate tubes would need to be specified at time of ordering at your D-D
retailer depending on marine or fresh water application.
