I currently have an arcadia 4x24 watt t5 luminaire and the tubes are not very good (made by Arcadia), i have seen pictures of tanks with D-D giesemann T5's and i am very impressed.
My tank is only 12 inches high but i may be upgrading to a 16inch high tank, i would like to know what tubes and how many would you reccommend?
I keep soft corals and i am looking into keeping basic lps corals such as hammer, frogspawn, duncans and trumpets. I would mainly like the tank to look nice but have quite good growth as i like aesthetics.
As i only have 4 tubes to play with this may be hard as i dont know about them all too much. My luminaire has 2 switches and i like to immitate dawn/dusk effects.

Now i use eheim 1048 for feeding Deltec FR 509 but i do adjust value for low water pass rowa. I can see when i adjust very very low water pass PO4 out of reactor is 0.02-0.03 but in my tank PO4 about 0.09-0.10. If i adjust very high water pass PO4 out of reactor is 0.11 and in my tank PO4 is 0.11.I am very confused by this problem.
2.My deltec FR 509 has 2 sponges fist is fine sponge and second is rough sponge. Do i use fine sponge on the top of reactor or buttom of reactor

When mixed it is leaving a brown residuue on the bottom of the buckets.
I belong to a marine club and no of many other members who are experiancing the same problem.
Can you comfirm if the salt is contaminated of this is a harmfull substance.
