Setting up the MCE300

 Hello ive tryed downloading your instructions for the skimmer with no joy what im after trying to find out is how do i get the skimmer to produce a dark thick skim in the collection cup rather then the brown colour water  im getting at the moment ive tryed the air valve at most postions but find  it better at about the 2oclock postion any help would be great

I WAS SPEAKING TO STUART EARLIER ABOUT MY DELTEC PF601 REACTOR.HE GAVE ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS BECAUSE YOU NO MORE ABOUT RUNNING THE REACTOR THIS WAY THAN HIM AND YOU HAVE THE SAME REACTOR AS ME ON YOUR  TANK VIA A PH CONTROLLER.I AM TRYING TO RUN MY REACTOR WITH A AQUATRONICA PH CONTROLLER I AM RUNNING THIS REACTOR WITH A PP6ML PUMPS AND ROWALITH C+ I HAVE 5 SPS CORALS IN MY TANK AT THE MOMENT AND I FIND MY AL/KH ARE PRETTY HIGH.COULD YOU TELL ME THE BEST WAY I SHOULD RUN THIS REACTOR VIA PH CONTROLLER AND HOW MUCH BUBBLES I SHOULD HAVE RUNNING THROW MY BUBBLE COUNTER PER A SECOND PLEASE. AND HOW I SHOULD SET THE PH IN THE REACTOR AND SHOULD I SET THE PH AT A MINUIM AND MAXIUM OR JUST TO STAY AT ONE LEVEL.

MCE600 become noisy

My mce600 protein skimmer seems to be making quite a noticable humming noise, louder than i would expect. Just how loud are these things meant to be as im concerned that all may not be quite right with it. Mine has an old style auqabee up2000 pump but with a new ceramic shaft and red bushes. It also has the damping feet on the pump but it still seems to be
 vibrating an abnormal amount.

 Any help would be appretiated.

SC2060 pinwheel

My Deltec SC 2060 pinwheel has the external pins cut half the size
 of all other pins. Is this normal?
