DC 750 Cooler - temperature control

Question:

The pump i am using delivers between a 1000to 2000 lt/hr i need to achieve 25c pipe runs have been keep to a min at what flow rate would you suggest ,Also i have set the chiller to 25c when it reaches the temp, the chiller stops but the thermometer in the tank reads 25.8 then the led readout on the unit rises back up to 26c then starts up again please i hope you have answers .

Answer:

The pump that you are using may be 1000-2000 litres at zero head however you should measure what is coming out of the outlet with a watch and a measuring jug. The instructions give a recommendation of flow rate and I would work at the higher end as the tank is turned over faster through the cooler.

The way that the cooler is set to work is as follows. - Temperature set at 25 - the cooler will switch on at 26 and cool back to 25C. When it gets to 26 it will come on again.

There must be a difference between the temperatures that the unit switches on and off at otherwise it would run continuously which would not give a long life for the compressor.
