Aqua illumination Pheonix availability

Could you supply and give me a price for a 4 cluster al sol pheonix led?

The pheonix or as it is now called " the VEGA" will not be released in the USA for a few months and will not be seen over here for at least 6 months as it will have to undergo European wireless certification before it can be sold.

There is no real benefit in having the Vega over the sol as there will be a wireless dongle available to give the sol the same features. The cost of the Vega will be higher than the SOL too.

In some respects The Sol will be a better option as it will have 8 sets of optics running at 9w rather than 4 running at 16. This spreads the light over a larger area of the light and should give a more even spread in the tank.

The Sol will not be discontinued.

I have a 2ft x 18" x 18" nano reef with Lps corals.

Is a sol nano adequate go this size?

The nano is half a vega but with touch control.

I am going to pass this email to Tony as he runs a nano and would be the best person to give advice as your tank is a little on the wide side.

It depends where the corals are placed

Either the Nano or SOL will suits your needs, i run a nano over my 18 x 18 x 18 cube and it is more than enough

so it should be fine over your aquarium.
